First introduced in 1958, the Super Jet reflected the modern, military Jet-Age helmet styles of the era. Originally named as the Trackstar Super-jet, it was immediately popular with the Ton Up Boys. Re-named the Super Jet in 1960, its popularity continued with young British riders, notably the Rockers, who made it their own.
The Super Jet went on to be our all time best selling helmet, remaining in the Lewis Leathers line until 1973.
